Iris uses Google and Microsoft OAuth. You authorize read/send permissions; we never see your password. You can revoke access at any time from Settings.
Is my email content stored?+
No. Email content is fetched on demand when you open the app. We cache only the bare minimum needed for features like follow-up reminders.
Does Iris just chat, or does it actually do things?+
It acts. Iris monitors your inbox, tasks, notes, and calendar, decides what needs attention, and handles it — creating tasks, routing follow-ups, and flagging what needs you. Tasks can also be created manually and live in a dedicated Tasks section linked to your inbox.
Can it scan receipts automatically?+
Yes. Iris scans your inbox for receipts and booking confirmations, extracts the data, and builds a spend dashboard. No manual upload required.
Which AI model is used?+
Claude via Anthropic for reasoning tasks. Fast, precise, and no third-party training on your data.
